Mireille Hadas-Lebel taught Hebrew for many years at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO). She is now Professor of the History of Religions at the Sorbonne (University of Paris IV), where she also teaches Biblical Hebrew. She is the author of several works on the History of Ancient Judaism and on the Hebrew Language: The History of the Hebrew Language Originating during the time of the Mishna. (PUF, 1976; Peeters, Louvain, 1995), Hebrew, Three Thousand Years of History (Albin Michel, 1992). In addition, she is also responsable for the educational design of a CD-ROM for learning Biblical Hebrew (Biblical Hebrew Method, Yodea Edition).
After having specialized in the teaching of modern Hebrew, in Israel, Sonia Barzilai-Naud joined the Hebrew Department of the University of Paris, first at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations (INALCO), of Paris VIII ; In addition to her teaching responsabilies, she trains teachers of modern Hebrew. A Doctor of Hebrew Letters, she is the author of three teachers manuels, published by the Alliance Israelite Universelle. She has also written a Manuel of Modern Hebrew, published by Langues et Mondes- L'Asiathèque.
